Sensit HXG-3 Combustible Gas Leak Detectors. SENSIT HXG-3 is an advanced state-of-the-art combustible gas leak detector capable of sensing many combustible gases such as methane, propane and natural gas. The backlit LCD display shows percent lower explosive limit (LEL) and part-per million (ppm) readings simultaneously for accurate leak detection and analysis. Audible and visual alarms warn of potential hazardous conditions.

Pinpoint Leaks
Leaks can easily be pinpointed by using an audible tick rate. The sensor is located at the end of a flexible gooseneck to easily reach areas where leaks may be suspected.

If this is a first-time purchase of a gas monitor, eventually it will need to be calibrated using a calibration kit. A calibration kit includes a reference gas such as methane, against which you calibrate your monitor. You certainly may purchase a calibration kit later, when your unit needs calibration, but on some of the Sensit models we sell, there are very attractive discounts if you buy the calibration kit with the monitor.
